As a registered nurse, I am bound by the rules and regulations set out by the College of Nurses of Ontario. The standards for nursing practice for RN’s outline minimum expectations in providing safe, effective and ethical nursing care within the practice care setting. I also practice under the Foot Care Standards, Infection Control Guidelines, Documentation Standards, Therapeutic Nurse Client Relationship Guidelines and of course Confidentiality and Privacy with all personal health information.
